About the role
- Designing and executing quantitative surveys and qualitative research (IDIs, focus groups) with HCPs, patients, and caregivers to answer strategic brand and marketing questions
- Using social listening and online community analysis to identify hypotheses, refine discussion guides, and contextualize what you hear in primary research
- Working with claims and real-world data to frame market sizing, patient journey, and competitive dynamics before and after primary fieldwork
- Pulling from syndicated panel data and digital behavioral data to understand HCP and consumer engagement patterns and validate or challenge primary findings
- Building screeners, questionnaires, and discussion guides; managing audience bids, fielding, vendor coordination, and QA
- Synthesizing findings across data sources into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and client communication
- Presenting findings to clients and internal teams
- Contributing to proposals and new business development
Requirements
- Have 3-6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or communications
- Have prior experience designing and executing primary research, ideally at a market research firm or healthcare consulting firm
- Have a background in or understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries
- Have hands on experience with quantitative survey design, fielding, and analysis
- Have experience conducting qualitative research with healthcare audiences
- Be comfortable working with multiple data sources and synthesizing across them, even if you have not used every source listed above
- Enjoy working with others and be comfortable with client interaction
- Have strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Be detail oriented with strong organizational capabilities and outstanding communication skills
- Ability to balance rigor with speed and create repeatable frameworks that work across accounts.
- Be a quick learner who can pick up new data sources and tools as needed
- Be a self-starter who is committed to excellence and willing to take the extra “click” to better understand the data
