About the role
- Prompt builds B2B enterprise software for rehab therapy businesses to improve patient outcomes
- QA Analyst focusing on manual testing to ensure product quality, consistency, and reliability
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing on new and existing features
- Create detailed test cases and execute them to verify product functionality
- Identify, document, and communicate defects to the development team
- Collaborate with product, development, and design teams to review requirements and ensure alignment
- Maintain accurate records of test plans, test cases, and results
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for software testing
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably with healthcare-related software
- Solid experience with manual testing techniques: functional, regression, smoke, acceptance
- Strong documentation skills for writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports
- Exceptional attention to detail in identifying issues and inconsistencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to shifting priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and database testing including proficiency with SQL
