About the role

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for GTM teams.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing, such as customer acquisition costs, revenue growth, quota attainment, and market penetration.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management to optimize GTM strategies and improve financial performance.
  • Identify and explain variances between actual results and forecasts, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with FP&A, sales, and marketing, to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards to track GTM performance and support decision-making.
  • Build trust with key stakeholders through data accuracy, process transparency, and proactive analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerQuery, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting software.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (an MBA or CPA is often preferred).
  • Typically, 5+ years of experience in FP&A, with a focus on GTM or similar functions.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts (statistics, probabilities, algebraic expressions, etc.)
