About the role

  • Review and process AP invoices for completeness, accuracy, correct account coding, and appropriate approval
  • Process weekly and ad-hoc vendor checks and ACH payments
  • Review and process employee expense reports via Concur
  • Process customer invoices and credit memos
  • Upload customer invoices to portals for payment
  • Process customer credit card payments
  • Provide backup support for cash receipts application
  • Perform monthly closing tasks, including reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Maintain and update various accounting spreadsheets
  • Run and review daily accounting reports as needed
  • Assist with audit-related data requests
  • Organize and maintain filing systems
  • Support other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and active listening abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office technology
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping
