QA Engineer

• Supports line managers in product and process quality planning
• Helps improve processes that affect product quality
• Devises product quality audit methods, special quality studies, failure investigations and feedback of quality information to management
• Responsible for development and improvement of specific office and manufacturing processes as determined by business priorities
• Participates in design and quality requirement reviews
• Conducts training programs on general product knowledge, use of special test equipment and inspection techniques
• Assists in assuring on-going ISO 9001 registration requirements are met
• Makes decisions defining, modifying or restricting processes
• Designs product and process quality audit tools
• Conducts special studies and investigations related to problem solving and problem prevention

Quality Engineering Specialist

Mechanical Engineer

• Complete transformer mechanical design including internal and external layout of components and accessories
• Calculate dimensions, allowances, and specifications per standard procedures or general design knowledge
• Verify and update programs
• Provide technical support and training of others
• Assist the supervisor in the planning and scheduling of the design and detailing processes
• Responsible for directing or executing corrective action when shop problems are encountered
• Consult with shop and QA personnel on interferences or interpretation of engineering information
• Provide support to Quote Designers, such as bid or preliminary outlines and mechanical optimization

• Review and process AP invoices for completeness, accuracy, correct account coding, and appropriate approval
• Process weekly and ad-hoc vendor checks and ACH payments
• Review and process employee expense reports via Concur
• Process customer invoices and credit memos
• Upload customer invoices to portals for payment
• Process customer credit card payments
• Provide backup support for cash receipts application
• Perform monthly closing tasks, including reconciling general ledger accounts
• Maintain and update various accounting spreadsheets
• Run and review daily accounting reports as needed

Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Analyst

• Prepares bill of ladings and DOT HAZMAT paperwork for shipments
• Sets up GPS impact recorders, manages recorder inventory, and maintains records of previous shipments
• Organizes new orders, change orders and customer site documents from sales
• Maintains an organized system for drawings and department correspondence
• Prepares requests for quotes to vendors
• Collects outstanding receiving paperwork and inspection reports from customers
• Adapts easily and quickly to a rapidly changing environment

• Assists logistics team with other functions including, but not limited to: certificates of insurance, purchase orders, invoices, master procurement agreements, leasing contracts, vendor management, expediting, safety initiatives, tracking customer specific requirements, shipment schedule, traffic metrics, tracking reports, SAP transactions, railroad shipments, specialized truck shipments and legal loads
• Manage GPS fleet including setting up all customers’ access to the new portal, creating a new SOP, assisting all customers & channel partners with questions on the new portal, tag and ID all recorders for better inventory turnover
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of transformer accessorial loads, including selecting an appropriate accessory load carrier based on price, quality of service, workload of shipping floor personnel
• Act as backup to send out customer receiving papers and trace reports
• Manage green initiative of recycling impact recorders to volunteers
