About the role

  • Manage relationships with external vendors used for program member benefits and communication
  • Ensure $6M+ annual food card contract is accurately implemented
  • Oversee operations for monthly virtual nutrition education classes
  • Support with the maintenance and reporting of accurate program data and impact
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Program Associates
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and care among direct reports
  • Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in nonprofit, government, or social service organizations
  • Experience with programs that support low-income, or other vulnerable, populations
  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet different learning styles, without sacrificing nuance
  • Flexibility to pivot priorities in a short time period
  • Ability to problem-solve independently
  • Technological acumen: Able to perform complex tasks in Excel and Salesforce
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to speak Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole is preferred
