About the role
- Manage relationships with external vendors used for program member benefits and communication
- Ensure $6M+ annual food card contract is accurately implemented
- Oversee operations for monthly virtual nutrition education classes
- Support with the maintenance and reporting of accurate program data and impact
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Program Associates
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and care among direct reports
- Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in nonprofit, government, or social service organizations
- Experience with programs that support low-income, or other vulnerable, populations
- Ability to adapt communication style to meet different learning styles, without sacrificing nuance
- Flexibility to pivot priorities in a short time period
- Ability to problem-solve independently
- Technological acumen: Able to perform complex tasks in Excel and Salesforce
- Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to speak Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole is preferred
