About the role
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents that solve real business problems across Progressive Leasing using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and related tools
- Take business use cases from whiteboard to working agent — owning conversation design, topic authoring, action integration, and end-to-end delivery without heavy technical oversight
- Build and maintain integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems via APIs, connectors, and webhooks — including CRMs, ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, and internal data sources
- Develop custom connectors and Power Automate flows that give agents secure, reliable access to the data and services they need to be useful
- Leverage Microsoft Graph API to connect agents with organizational data and M365 services, enabling richer and more context-aware agent behavior
- Implement authentication and authorization patterns for enterprise agent integrations — including OAuth, service accounts, and managed identities
- Engineer prompt configurations, system prompts, grounding strategies, and fallback behaviors that make agents reliable, accurate, and safe in production
- Document agent architecture, data flows, and integration points clearly for security review, handoff, and ongoing maintenance
- Partner closely with the AI Product Manager to receive prioritized use cases and deliver working agents that meet business requirements and adoption goals
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ of experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on AI agent development, conversational AI, or intelligent automation
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Copilot Studio — building, configuring, and deploying custom agents with conversation design, topic authoring, and action integration
- Power Platform development experience across Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse — including both low-code flows and custom connector development
- Experience integrating agents with enterprise systems via APIs, connectors, and webhooks — including CRMs, ITSM platforms, and internal data sources
- Understanding of Microsoft Graph API and how to use it to give agents access to organizational data and M365 services
- Familiarity with AI platforms beyond the Microsoft ecosystem — including OpenAI/ChatGPT APIs and Anthropic Claude — and an understanding of how different LLM providers can be leveraged for different agent use cases
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns for enterprise integrations — including OAuth, service accounts, and managed identities
- Basic to intermediate scripting ability in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for pro-code extensions and custom connector logic
- Experience working with prompt engineering and LLM configuration within agent platforms — including system prompts, grounding, and fallback behavior design; hands-on experience with ChatGPT or Claude in addition to Microsoft Copilot is highly valued
