About the role

  • Lead discovery, architecture design, and delivery of LoadMaster deployments across physical, virtual, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerized environments
  • Install, configure, and tune Layer 4/7 load balancing, SSL/TLS offload, content switching, health checking, session persistence, and high availability (HA)
  • Implement and optimize security features including Web Application Firewall (WAF), authentication/SSO integrations (SAML/OAuth/OpenID Connect), and DDoS mitigation
  • Design global traffic distribution using GSLB, DNS, and edge services; plan failover and disaster recovery scenarios
  • Perform migration projects from competitive ADCs (e.g., F5, Citrix, NGINX) to LoadMaster, including cutover planning and rollback strategies
  • Develop implementation plans, runbooks, and as-built documentation; hand over to operations with training and best practices
  • Execute performance benchmarking and capacity planning; analyze telemetry to recommend improvements
  • Advise customers on PCI DSS and other compliance considerations related to application delivery and security controls
  • Contribute to reusable accelerators (templates, scripts, automations), and mentor junior consultants
  • Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with account teams on statements of work (SOWs)

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Professional Services, Consulting, or Architecture roles focused on networking, application delivery, or security
  • Hands-on expertise with Progress Kemp LoadMaster (hardware, virtual, and cloud editions)
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VLANs/VxLAN, DNS, TLS/PKI, HTTP/S, and web application architectures
  • Experience implementing WAF policies, authentication/authorization flows, and MFA/IdP integrations
  • Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code familiarity a plus
  • Cloud networking and ADC experience in AWS/Azure/GCP; Kubernetes ingress/controller knowledge is beneficial
  • Clear, structured communication; ability to lead workshops and produce high-quality documentation
  • Relevant certifications (network/security/cloud) are advantageous but not required.
