About the role
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve growth targets in the Northeast region.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within industrial, power generation, and marine sectors.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through consultative and solution-oriented selling.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring strong forecasting and revenue visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and customized solutions.
- Stay current on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and key customer meetings.
- Consistently communicate updates and results to management and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical outside sales or application engineering experience with a strong track record of prospecting, territory growth, and closing new business.
- Experience in power generation, marine, industrial equipment, oil and gas, or related technical markets.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and execute in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for client visits
