About the role
- Manage environment, health, and safety programs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and operational safety requirements
- Conduct audits and implement safety SOPs
- Work with manufacturing and machinery environments
- Travel to sites about 30% of the time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience
- Three (3) years’ safety management experience
- Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in working in machinery environment
- Knowledge of general audit principle
- Knowledge of TRIR
- Knowledge of Operational OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of Operational safety practices
- Knowledge of Presentation principles
- Knowledge of Research principles
- Knowledge of General quality terms such as quarantine, nonconformance, sample size, contamination, defect, lot sampling, dimension, and allowable variation
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- SOP Creation
- Preferably bilingual in Spanish
- Travel – about 30% of the time
