Engineering Manager

• Define and execute the long-term technology strategy aligned with the company’s business goals
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CTO, the CEO, and the executive team on all technical matters
• Execute product strategy: translate product vision into clear engineering roadmaps and deliverables
• Build, scale, inspire, and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering team
• Build and maintain technical relationships with customers serving as a liaison between the customer and Onsights technical team
• Lead and mentor engineering teams across Platform/Infrastructure, Applications/Services, QA, and Cybersecurity functions

• Establish and maintain best practices for development, deployment, and quality assurance
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Oversee system architecture, infrastructure, and platform scalability for Onsights platform and enterprise systems
• Ensure platform uptime and performance meet customer expectations
• Enforce cybersecurity controls across environments
• Implement robust DevOps practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and automation
• Drive technical excellence and coding standards through modern development methodologies
• Work with R&D teams to accelerate feature delivery and experimentation
• Develop, drive, and own the company’s information security strategy and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA)
• Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and application layers
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery from concept to deployment
• Establish and track key engineering KPIs related to quality, velocity, and reliability
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of technical milestones
• Keep apprised of latest developments in the industry, including opportunities to leverage LLMs, GenAI, etc.

VP of Engineering

IT Support

• Provide technical support for end-users and system components, including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and other system-related issues.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor IT systems such as computers, servers, printers, and mobile devices
• Assist with the implementation of system updates, patches, and upgrades
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of IT assets
• Adhere to IT policies and procedures related to security, data backup, disaster recovery, and software licensing compliance
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and deactivating user accounts, hardware, and software access
• Stay current with technology trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the role
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors and assist with resolution
• Collaborate on IT projects and initiatives as assigned
• Perform other duties as needed to support departmental operations
• May occasionally involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting IT or office equipment and supplies
