About the role
- Reverse-engineer legacy Stored Procedures to determine how user permissions, entitlements, and roles are calculated
- Design and maintain logical and physical data models
- Design and build custom data extraction and transformation routines using T-SQL and scripting languages
- Analyze and optimize stored procedures, queries, indexing strategies, and data pipelines
- Implement database-level security controls, auditing, encryption, and least-privilege access patterns
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and repeatable migration recipes
- Translate business, security, and IAM requirements into scalable SQL and data integration designs
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams; conduct code reviews; and mentor developers
- Develop reconciliation and validation scripts to ensure 100% data integrity
Requirements
- 10+ years of Mastery of T-SQL including Stored Procedures, Triggers, CTEs, and performance tuning
- 10+ Years of Deep development experience in at least one modern language (Python, C#, or Java)
- 7+ Years of Proven experience migrating legacy relational systems to modern platforms
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, maintainable data architectures and models
- Strong ability to analyze complex technical challenges and deliver effective, secure solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
