About the role

  • You are responsible for the strategic planning, control and optimization of the entire supply chain, including S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), purchasing, materials planning, production planning and logistics.
  • You identify and negotiate with suppliers and business partners to secure the best terms and implement cost-saving measures.
  • You lead, develop and motivate your team of 4 to 5 employees, with both technical and disciplinary responsibility.
  • You prepare and own the purchasing and supply chain budget and present regular performance and financial reports to management.
  • You run active risk management to safeguard the supply chain, minimize bottlenecks and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • You analyze and optimize processes to increase efficiency and transparency, and implement new technologies and best practices to future-proof the supply chain.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field with a focus on Purchasing, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • You have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement.
  • You have solid knowledge of ERP systems and understand end-to-end processes.
  • You are proficient in German and English at a minimum of C1 level.
  • Ideally, you have experience with the Google Workspace and are familiar with ASANA.
