About the role

  • You are responsible for the strategic planning, control and optimization of the entire supply chain, including S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), purchasing, materials planning (disposition), production planning and logistics.
  • You identify and negotiate with suppliers and business partners to secure the best terms and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • You lead, develop and motivate your team of 4–5 employees, providing both functional and disciplinary leadership.
  • You create and own the procurement and supply chain budget and present regular performance and financial reports to management.
  • You run active risk management to secure the supply chain and minimize bottlenecks, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • You analyze and optimize processes to increase efficiency and transparency, and implement new technologies and best practices to future-proof the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field with a focus on purchasing, logistics or supply chain management.
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management and procurement.
  • Solid knowledge of ERP systems and understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Proficient in German and English at least at C1 level.
  • Ideally experience with the Google Workspace and familiarity with ASANA.
