About the role
- Define and drive the UX vision and design strategy for enterprise-scale healthcare products.
- Break down complex systems and workflows into understandable, solvable user experiences.
- Clearly articulate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale when presenting to senior leadership and executives.
- Serve as a design thought leader, elevating UX standards and best practices across teams.
- Lead the full design lifecycle: discovery, research, ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
- Produce high-quality visual and interaction design for mobile-first responsive web experiences.
- Design and refine micro-interactions and motion behaviors that improve clarity, feedback, and delight.
- Rapidly iterate in environments with changing priorities, incomplete data, and evolving constraints.
- Own and evolve scalable Figma design systems, tokens, including components, patterns, and documentation.
- Apply design token principles to ensure consistency across platforms and implementations.
- Design and validate experiences that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
- Create hypotheses, design experiments, and run user testing and usability QA to validate outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product and Analytics to use product analytics to inform, validate, and refine design decisions.
- Define and document analytics tagging points, event names, and data-analytics-id elements directly within design specifications.
- Validate analytics instrumentation pre-release to ensure correctness and usability of downstream data.
- Work closely with Technical Product Managers, Engineers, and Analytics partners to align design, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Contribute design considerations to product briefs and PRDs, ensuring UX requirements are explicit and testable.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional UX design experience, including significant time at a principal or lead designer level.
- Demonstrated success designing mobile-first consumer or enterprise applications at scale.
- Strong portfolio showing systems thinking, visual excellence, and measurable impact.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variables, auto-layout, design system architecture).
- Deep experience with design systems and cross-platform consistency.
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Drive work independently from concept through delivery.
- Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience using product analytics and user testing to inform design decisions and validate outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative validation.
- Experience partnering closely with analytics teams on event design and validation.
- Ability to influence leadership on long-term product and experience strategy.
- Strong systems thinking with an interest in how design decisions affect platform evolution and lifecycle value.
