Senior Principal – Pharma Brand Strategy, Planning & Insights

AI Engineer

• Design and implement agentic AI systems that query external data sources and process pharmaceutical and biotech information
• Develop robust retrieval pipelines over specialized life sciences content to extract valuable competitive intelligence
• Create and maintain evaluation harnesses to ensure accuracy, reliability, and ethical operation of AI systems
• Engineer production-grade prompts and structured-output parsing mechanisms for consistent AI performance
• Build and optimize RAG stacks to enhance knowledge retrieval from domain-specific content
• Develop REST APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks to integrate AI capabilities into Prescient's product ecosystem
• Design and implement dashboards that communicate AI-generated insights to analysts and clients
• Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to improve AI system performance and relevance
• Write clean, typed, and well-tested Python code following best practices for maintainability and scalability
• Troubleshoot complex issues in multi-turn agent interactions and implement robust error handling mechanisms

Consultant

• As a Senior Consultant, you will play a central role in delivering high-impact, insight-led strategy projects for global biopharma clients.
• Manage multiple value, pricing and access strategy projects across the product life cycle, including more complex, higher value projects
• Oversee research quality and synthesise insights into strategic recommendations
• Plan and manage resources and timelines for complex projects with multiple workstreams to meet clients’ strategic objectives
• Develop pricing strategies, access roadmaps, and value narratives
• Identify risks across workstreams and develop mitigation strategies
• Moderate interviews with payers and clinicians
• Act as the day-to-day point of client contact throughout projects
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
• Support delivery of high-quality, insight-driven outputs
• Draft project proposals and pitch materials
• Support thought leadership, particularly in oncology and rare diseases
• Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and follow-on projects
• Work closely with colleagues across Commercial, Medical and Competitive Strategy practices
• Contribute to integrated, cross-functional client solutions
• Line manage, coach and mentor junior team members
• Direct and collate the work of Analysts to conduct research and apply knowledge to ensure quality and validity
