About the role
- Position Description
- We have an opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our HR Team! Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will play a critical role in supporting 500+ employees. The position is based in our corporate office located in Downtown Phoenix and is a hybrid role. You would be joining an HR Team that values collaboration and appreciates different perspectives.
- This position will be empowered to continuously innovate to ensure the employee experience is exceptional while performing the following primary responsibilities:
- **Responsible for Onboarding and Off-Boarding**
- - Oversee all onboarding tasks for new hires, to include but not limited to, E-Verify, compliance training, background checks, drug screens, delivery of IT equipment, ADP setup, and new hire documents.
- - Facilitate the New Employee Orientation (NEO).
- - Ensure new employees receive their PrePass swag.
- - Responsible for the off-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
- **Employee Liaison**
- - Provide support to employees to include, but not limited, policy questions, assistance with timecards, completion of verification of employment requests.
- - Respond to employee requests for assistance and partner with various departments to resolve issues, for example, Payroll or Legal.
- - Provide general support to Leaders of People, for example, payroll reports, org. chart visuals.
- **HR Compliance**
- - Maintain compliant personnel files.
- - Manage unemployment claims.
- **Support Company Initiatives and HR Programs**
- - Responsible for various programs, for example, Employee Referral Program.
- - Assist at times the Corporate Recruiter with filling positions.
- - Participate in the culture team and assist with employee engagement events.
- **Leave Management and Accommodations**
- - In partnership with the Leave of Absence Management provider, support the employee in the leave process.
- - Oversee the ADA Accommodation process.
Requirements

- - BA, BS Degree or related field or equivalent experience.
- - 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
- - Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
- - Ability to build trust and credibility with leaders and employees.
