About the role
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Jupyter Notebooks, EMR workflows, Hive data structures, AWS services, and data pipelines
- Support and troubleshoot Jupyter Notebooks, EMR workflows, and Hive data structures
- Utilize Python, AWS services, and SQL for incident resolution and system monitoring
- Monitor batch jobs, data pipelines, and system health
- Document solutions, best practices, and support routine maintenance activities
- Collaborate with users and engineering teams to improve operations and ensure compliance
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and system operations
- Proficiency with AWS services including EMR, S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch
- Experience with Python, Jupyter, Hive, SQL, and data management
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX, shell scripting, and system health checks
- Experience with monitoring and incident management tools
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder support skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
