About the role

  • Oversee day-to-day data operations and maintenance of HIVE-managed data environments
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation
  • Support reporting and analytics needs
  • Coordinate with engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Optimize HIVE performance including data partitioning and indexing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics and data operations
  • Technical acumen in HIVE and SQL, including HiveQL and SQL
  • Experience with HIVE performance optimization, data partitioning, and indexing
  • Hands-on understanding of Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Spark
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
