About the role

  • Responsible for generating revenue through managing a team
  • Act as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients and ensure deliverables meet expectations
  • Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship to Strategic Account Directors (SADs), Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), and Strategic Account Associates (SAAs)
  • Support department and company initiatives
  • Lead and participate in new business opportunities and pitches

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, and/or advanced degree in management, marketing, or business desirable/preferred
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or medical affairs experience or medical communications agency experience, with experience successfully managing and growing $2.5M+ pharma/healthcare accounts
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Internet
  • PowerPoint design proficiency
