About the role
- Define and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for Movement Disorder therapeutic area.
- Lead Medical Affairs enabling functions including operational execution, vendor oversight, and budget management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and advocacy organizations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and execute Medical Affairs plans including publication planning and educational programs.
- Oversee external vendors for timely execution.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD or DO) with 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or clinical research; Neurologist preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research with a consistent record of high performance.
- Strong people leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to organize and lead scientific advisory panels.
- Solid understanding of U.S. regulations governing Medical Affairs activities.
- High intellectual curiosity with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to lead by example and develop talent.
