About the role

  • Own the design and execution of revenue and inventory accounting processes, including revenue recognition, gross-to-net deductions, inventory valuation, reserves, and GL close activities, in compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606) and SOX requirements.
  • Establish and maintain accounting processes related to government pricing programs, including Medicaid, Medicare and other federal and state programs.
  • Partner closely with cross functional stakeholders and external auditors to support accounting policy development, documentation, audit readiness, and ongoing compliance.
  • Design and operationalize gross-to-net processes, including controls, reconciliations and data flows with third-party vendors.
  • Build and maintain inventory accounting and operational processes in partnership with supply chain and 3PL providers.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of systems and tools supporting revenue, inventory, and government pricing processes.
  • Serve as the primary Finance partner for revenue, inventory and government pricing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 12–18+ years of progressive experience in revenue, inventory or technical accounting within biotech or pharmaceutical companies, including direct experience supporting early commercial launches.
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 606, gross-to-net accounting, inventory accounting and government pricing-related accounting requirements.
  • Experience supporting government pricing programs including Medicaid, Medicare and 340B.
  • Experience supporting a pre- or early-commercial public biotech environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and gross-to-net systems and experience supporting SOX compliance and external audits.
  • Ability to operate independently in a hands-on build-phase environment.
