About the role
- Support secure launch, development, and commercial introduction of new aerospace products
- Diagnose and resolve product quality and application issues through on-site observation, data analysis, and hands-on troubleshooting across multiple product systems
- Assemble, operate, maintain, and manage aerospace application equipment and related inventory
- Develop, document, and communicate corrective actions, procedures, and technical findings to internal teams and customers
- Deliver comprehensive, independent customer training (in-house and on-site) across Commercial, General Aviation, and Military product segments; contribute to Aerospace Academy course development and instruction
- Collaborate with customers on new engineering specifications and provide advanced technical support to internal service teams
- Maintain accurate project, customer, and travel records within the PPG Aerospace CRM system
Requirements
- Three or more years’ experience in coatings application is preferred
- Previous aerospace or large-scale experience is a bonus
- Experience with or willingness to learn six-sigma methods and experimental design
- Must be able to speak, read, write & interpret technical information in English
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Available to travel 50 to 75% annually - domestic and international
