About the role

  • Responsible for the entry of all internal international purchase orders and Transparencies purchase orders.
  • Follow-up and support to internal customers ensuring their requirements are being met.
  • Ensuring you are working toward good relationships with your counterparts in Shipping/Planning/Logistics/Quality.
  • Obtaining late order information and notifying customers of any delays with their orders.
  • Must keep appropriate stakeholders abreast of the problems/solutions pertaining to the customer and achievement of KPIs.
  • Collaboration that will develop new business processes or to correct/update old processes.
  • Work with the appropriate stakeholders to conceive and develop solutions to complex administrative problems using professionally accepted techniques, practices, and/or procedures.
  • Responsible for complying with PPG's export compliance procedures.
  • Responsible for adhering to the export team's processes and regulations.
  • Managing a wide range of accounts with individual requirements and expectations.

Requirements

  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Customer Service or Exports experience.
  • Can work well with international organizations.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles preferred or be willing to attend training.
