About the role
- Responsible for the entry of all internal international purchase orders and Transparencies purchase orders.
- Follow-up and support to internal customers ensuring their requirements are being met.
- Ensuring you are working toward good relationships with your counterparts in Shipping/Planning/Logistics/Quality.
- Obtaining late order information and notifying customers of any delays with their orders.
- Must keep appropriate stakeholders abreast of the problems/solutions pertaining to the customer and achievement of KPIs.
- Collaboration that will develop new business processes or to correct/update old processes.
- Work with the appropriate stakeholders to conceive and develop solutions to complex administrative problems using professionally accepted techniques, practices, and/or procedures.
- Responsible for complying with PPG's export compliance procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to the export team's processes and regulations.
- Managing a wide range of accounts with individual requirements and expectations.
Requirements
- Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of Customer Service or Exports experience.
- Can work well with international organizations.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles preferred or be willing to attend training.
