About the role
- Day-to-day management of planning and operations for Services Solutions
- Leading customer demonstrations, initial project planning and initiatives
- Managing process improvement and ensuring operational fluidity of the Sales to Services customer experience
- Completing RFP responses and demonstration work on-time while meeting customers' expectations
- Expand knowledge and maintain understanding of designated applications and client business processes
- Act as a subject matter expert for overall Professional Services & the Customer Journey
- Lead effective Professional Services sessions to varied audiences during the pre-sales process
- Consult to determine client needs and make recommendations for value-added services and products
- Take lead on pre-sales questions regarding configuration, process mapping, district data migration, customer satisfaction, clarification of requirements and RFP responses
- Liaise with clients on-site, by phone or email partnering with Sales, set expectations and respond to feedback
- Apply PowerSchool Project Management methodologies to deliver proposed services
- Keep necessary parties up to date on status of projects/engagements and escalate as appropriate
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in: MS Offices sutie products Office 365, SharePoint, and other technical collaborative environments
- Specialized K-12 Knowledge or Certifications
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Superior trouble shooting and analytical skills
- Ability to mentor and coach employees
- Ability to thrive with a heavy workload and multiple projects with frequent interruptions and schedule changes
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and positive work relationships
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise resource planning or financial software
- Financial acumen and ability to understand business or compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of financial and audit processes
- Ability to solve service requirements based on customer size, complexity, environmental and funding factors
- Expertise with international compliance, currency, culture, and technical infrastructure
