About the role
- Monitor and manage system services and connectivity (Zabbix), including PBX systems, IPSEC tunnels, and related infrastructure
- Maintain and update servers (Provision1, Web1, Web2) supporting the Connect platform
- Perform maintenance and optimization of network servers (email, internet, file, and database) and their applications
- Implement security and contingency measures such as antivirus, firewalls, and backups
- Coordinate hardware procurement and upgrades for servers and workstations as required
- Administer and maintain business applications including NAV, the internal ticketing system, and Office 365
- Install, configure, and maintain employee workstations and networked devices
- Provide internal hardware and software support to intranet users
- Administer and back up servers, storage, and administrative applications (e.g., Spiceworks, Teams)
- Ensure systems documentation and inventory remain current and accurate
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or technical studies in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (completed or in progress)
- 5+ years of experience in systems and network administration or a similar technical role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Linux network configuration
- Strong understanding of network services (Proxy, FTP, Telnet, RDP, SSH, Firewalls)
- Experience maintaining MS Windows, Debian/BSD servers, and Office 365 environments
- Intermediate programming knowledge in .NET and/or Python
- Experience with IIS and Apache web servers and with MS SQL / MySQL databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to support both internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in Spanish; intermediate English proficiency preferred.
