About the role
- Prepare and process monthly journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, timely and accurately.
- Assist in other accounting-related tasks and projects as assigned.
- Promote processes for improvement to enhance efficiency in various accounting functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
