About the role
- Own forecasting, budgeting, spend visibility, variance analysis, and KPI standards
- Lead accounting, general ledger, monthly close, external partners, controls, and audit readiness
- Own revenue cycle performance with full visibility into claims, denials, AR aging, collections, vendor SLAs, and escalation paths
- Build payer-level and service-line profitability views
- Drive margin through unit economics modeling and identify improvement opportunities
- Partner with functional leaders on financial tradeoffs to build a high-performing finance team
Requirements
- Experience building finance at a venture-backed startup
- Strong healthcare background with insurance and RCM exposure
- Hands-on operator who can build models and own the GL
- Experience scaling from Seed through Series B or similar stage
- Comfortable owning audits, controls, and investor reporting
- Clear communicator who can tell the story behind the numbers
