Engineer

• Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing and operational processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Lead and support Lean Six Sigma projects to deliver measurable improvements across production and support functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and supply chain to implement process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and training materials.
• Monitor process performance using KPIs and data analytics, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.
• Ensure all process changes comply with defence sector regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Process Engineer – Lean Six Sigma – Defence

• Develop and prepare tooling and fixture solutions for manufacturing assembly.
• Act as a liaison for manufacturing teams, resolving issues and defects related to existing tooling.
• Support functional and environmental trials of tooling systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams to resolve technical queries.
• Plan and report daily activities to meet project milestones.
• Gather data and produce tooling specifications and requirements documentation.
• Challenge non-essential requirements to reduce unit production cost and design complexity.

Mechanical Tooling Engineer – Defence

Systems Engineer

• Collaborate with defence clients to understand, elicit, and refine operational needs and translate them into clear, actionable system and software requirements
• Develop and manage system, subsystem, and software requirements using industry-standard tools, ensuring traceability and alignment with customer expectations
• Contribute to product line development by informing common architecture and reusable software components that serve multiple customer applications
• Define and implement controlled processes for managing engineering changes, ensuring system integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle
• Act as the internal customer for specific software components, guiding their development and integration within the broader system architecture
• Shape complex defence systems and drive software development aligned with strategic product line goals

Senior Systems Engineer – Software Systems, Defence

Full-stack Engineer

• Design and development of software test solutions for electronics systems
• Write and maintain software in C, C++, C#, and scripting languages
• Collaborate with electronics and embedded systems engineers to integrate software with hardware platforms
• Work with tools such as LabWindows CVI, TestStand, and other test automation frameworks
• Apply DevOps principles, including automation, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
• Interface with communications protocols and serial buses including TFTP, Ethernet, RS232, RS422, RS485, Modbus, CAN, and MIL-STD-1553
• Use electronic measurement and debugging tools such as digital voltmeters (DVMs), oscilloscopes, and spectrum analysers
• Ensure high-quality software development through unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), and clean code design
• Participate in Agile development teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and collaborative problem-solving
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Must be currently SC cleared and able to commute to Stevenage four times per week due to project sensitivity
