About the role
- Prospecting for new clients
- Continually growing your account base
- Developing stronger relationships with existing clients
- Working to understand each client’s needs and requirements
- Applies a services centric selling solution approach with a focus on client outcomes
- Strategic solutions selling (new customers and some existing customers)
- Account planning with leadership, business partners and our technical services team
- Conducting needs analysis and discovery-based meetings with customers
- Creating customized business solutions
- Identifying client’s desired business outcomes
- Helping clients develop a vision for their digital transformation
- Achieving consistent quota attainment and gross profit targets
Requirements
- Proven hunter mentality with ability to execute
- Organized problem solver with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Previous services sales experience in the technology field is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication / negotiating / closing skills
- Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and CRM usage
- Previous state and local or federal government sales experience is a plus but not required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15% in the territory
