About the role
- Own the Product Vision & Roadmap
- Define and evangelize a compelling product vision for Senior Living that aligns with company strategy and market opportunity
- Create and execute a multi-year roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term platform bets
- Make decisive prioritization tradeoffs using data, customer insights, and business judgment
- Deeply Understand the Market
- Become the internal expert on senior living operators—their workflows, pain points, and business models
- Maintain a sharp understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and regulatory environment
- Spend meaningful time with customers (in-person and remote) to validate assumptions and uncover opportunities
- Drive Product Commercialization & GTM
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to bring products to market effectively
- Define value propositions, pricing frameworks, and go-to-market strategies for new products
- Support sales enablement and serve as a credible voice in customer conversations
- Build & Lead a High-Performing Team
- Hire, coach, and mentor product managers—fostering a culture of customer obsession and continuous improvement
- Be a hands-on leader: clarify priorities, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and other cross-functional leaders to deliver results
- Influence at the Executive Level
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and tradeoffs to senior leadership with clarity and confidence
- Champion the Senior Living opportunity across the organization—building alignment and securing resources
- Represent PointClickCare externally with customers, partners, and at industry events
Requirements
- 10+ years in Product Management, with experience in healthcare, SaaS, or senior living technology
- 3+ years leading product managers, with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining talent
- Experience building new products or entering new markets—not just optimizing existing ones
- Strong customer instincts with a demonstrable track record of delivering products users love
- Strategic and tactical range—able to set vision AND roll up sleeves to get things done
- Excellent communication skills—able to influence executives, rally teams, and represent the company externally
- Comfort with ambiguity—you create clarity, not wait for it.
