About the role
- Manage daily operations of Behavioral Health Utilization Management team
- Ensure workflow processes are completed within required timeframes
- Collaborate with internal departments to support clinical activities
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff
- Track and monitor utilization management and quality measures
- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Managerial experience in Behavioral Health
- Knowledge of Utilization Management processes
- Experience in network management activities
- Skilled in developing and managing initiatives and projects
- Ability to develop reports to meet regulatory requirements
- Strong supervisory skills in hiring, training, and coaching staff
- Experience with data and utilization management practices
