  • Quality Standards Enforcement: Ensuring that all software products meet established quality standards and adhere to best practices
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving testing processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient workflow
  • Test Environment Management: Ensuring the availability and stability of test environments, including configuring necessary resources and data
  • Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest testing technologies, tools, and methodologies
  • Training and Development: Providing training and mentorship to team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of testing activities, results, and progress, and reporting findings to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Strong SQL with hands on experience building complex SQL queries
  • Experience with Jira or related software to manage the testing process
  • University/college degree typically required
  • Certifications often desired
