About the role
- Implement new system configuration changes and solve business problems related to First Mortgage and Home Equity products
- Partner with other Software Engineers and developers to provide system configuration solutions to meet business requirements
- Participate in identifying, evaluating and configuring systems to meet business needs and standards
- Actively participate in daily stand ups, retros and demonstrations of product output
- Support crews in Agile@PNC methodologies
- Escalate to appropriate resource when issues occur and collaborate with vendor partners on planning and escalations
- Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
- Write code, test and deploy software
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
- Maintain and debug software
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Empower LOS
- Strong proficiency with ADO
- Strong proficiency with JIRA
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Postman - preferred
- Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
- Certifications are often desired
- Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as established by the specific government client contract
