Design new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event Services
Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practices
Understand business requirements and translate them to API Design
Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and Kafka
Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns
Support technical planning, estimation, development, testing and UAT support
Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution
Work in Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence tools

Requirements

3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Apache Kafka
MongoDB
experience design, development, and maintenance of APIs and integration solutions
experience in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence tools
certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
