About the role
- Strong contributor to the organizational tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function
- Completes accurate tax returns to minimize the tax obligations of the organization
- Research, monitor, and learn appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations
- Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions
- Coordinating, facilitating and resolving all taxing authority inquiries and audits
- Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs
- Keeping up-to-date with and advising others of organization-related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels

- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
