Brand Manager

• The Brand Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of integrated marketing plans that drive consumer engagement and business growth for their portfolio.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders in the development and execution of ATL & BTL plans, driven by insights, to achieve brand objectives.
• Effectively manage brand budgets, build strategy and plans that maximize long-term brand value, consumer fame and customer engagement.
• The role works closely with internal PMA teams (Trade Marketing, Sales team, Customer Management & Brand Team) as well as external (PR/ Media agencies, key Supplier team, where applicable as well as Retail & On-Premise customers)
• Be an expert in marketing/brand management and delivers consumer centric brand plans backed by insights and research.
• Brand Depletions (Sales), Market Share & brand ROI (at the level of Can $ income less A&P)
• Proactively engages the Brand Owner team and Director, Brand Development to align on annual Brand Plans and Activations within brand guidelines.
• Develop activity plans from aligned consumer strategies and insights and provide direction, tools and materials for activation.
• Develop and establish clear brand communication & activation strategies that drive brand growth, image & equity.
• Engage with supplier to manage innovation pipeline and launch plans for Canada.
• Ensure effective management of assigned budgets, collaborating with Trade Development Team/Regional Sales.
• Conduct measurement and evaluation of Above the Line (A.T.L.) and Below the Line (B.T.L) campaigns as needed.
• Be direct point of contact for assigned suppliers/3rd parties and foster strong relationships.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting, performance tracking, A&P reconciliation for assigned brands.
• Measure brand performance in conjunction with supplier KPIs.
• Responsible for maintaining consistency of brand messaging and presentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive achievement of brand plans.
• Coach and Motivate Brand Ambassadors & Promotion Co-coordinators as applicable.

Account Manager

• Lead the Establishment and Development of the PMA Portfolio
• Accountability for Delivery of Business Objectives and Expanding Consumer Access of PMA Brands through Head Office Coverage

• Trimester MES | SCD Targets Development by Brand Expression & Banner for Lockdown Meetings
• Biweekly Business Unit Performance Review Sessions with the Regional Sales Director
• Monthly Scorecard on Key Business Metrics & Competitive Gaming
• Annual Customer Development Business Plan by Category
• Collaborative Phased Monthly Shipment Forecast by SKU
• Investment Control within Budget by Brand Expression

Retail Key Account Manager

Accounts Receivable

• Ensure promotional chargebacks complete accurately and invoiced as per supplier contracts in a timely manner
• Prepare and post A&P related journal entries and adjustment entries
• Prepare statements for suppliers, investigate, follow-up and resolve any discrepancies identified
• Cash application of all incoming and outgoing payments and monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in the financial oversight process and controls to ensure a clean audit
• Administrator for US Bank credit cards and Esso gas cards; issue new cards and resolve issues
• Account reconciliations for assigned G/L accounts
• Collections on outstanding receivables and follow up on issues identified
• Setting up of wire payments
• Oversee the monthly sales tax reporting process including GST/HST, PST and QST
• Ad hoc reporting on transaction details relating to chargeback accounts
• Liaise regularly with suppliers and PMA marketing to ensure accounts are reconciled and up-to-date
• Other duties as required

Accountant – Promotions and Accounts Receivable

• Reporting to the Sales Manager | GTA and develop the PMA portfolio in the Toronto On-Premise Territory in assigned on premise outlets
• Accountability for Delivery of Objectives: Minimum Outlet Execution Standards, Minimum Outlet Inventory Levels and Territory Depletions vs Target
• Drive Annual Depletions (Stock Movement from W/H into Outlet) vs Target by Brand Expression for Assigned Outlets
• Deliver Minimum Execution Standard (MES) Outcomes vs Target by Brand Expression & Banner for Assigned Outlets
• Drive Shopper Conversion Driver (SCD) Outcomes vs Target by Brand Expression & Banner for Assigned Outlets
• Maintain up-to-date Journey Plans for Coverage of Assigned Outlets and ensure Weekly 1:1 MES | SCD Status vs Target Review Sessions with Sales Manager
• Produce Monthly Scorecard on Territory Key Business Metrics and manage Minimum Inventory Levels by SKU within Assigned Outlets
• Create Actionable Individual Development Plans for Own Role and ensure Investment Control within Budget by Brand Expression & Banner
• Field-based role with significant travel and overnight stays as required to cover territory
