Administration

• Betreuung von Kundenprojekten im Bereich Netzwerk und Infrastruktur
• Planung, Einrichtung und Konfiguration von Netzwerken gemäß den Kundenanforderungen
• Konfiguration von Routern und Switches (z. B. VLANs, Trunks, STP, LACP, Port-Security)
• Einrichtung und Pflege von Routing-Konzepten – insbesondere OSPF und BGP
• Aufbau und Betrieb von Standortvernetzungen ( VPN , MPLS/Provider-Anbindungen – je nach Kundenumfeld)
• Kundensupport am Telefon , per Ticketsystem und beim Kunden vor Ort
• Systematische Eingrenzung und Behebung auftretender Störungen unter Einsatz von Diagnose- und Monitoring-Tools
• Beratung interner und externer Anwender bei Auswahl und Einsatz von Netzwerkkomponenten und Lösungen
• Analyse und Behebung von Performance- und Verfügbarkeitsproblemen (Latenz, Paketverlust, Routing-Issues)
• Unterstützung bei Betrieb und Wartung unserer Systeme und Netzwerkinfrastrukturen
• Erstellen von System- und Netzwerkdokumentationen (Topologien, IP-Pläne, Regelwerke, Change-Dokus)
• Durchführen von Schulungen für Kunden (z. B. Basis-Handling, Best Practices, Betrieb)
• Unterstützung der Support-Teamführung, eventuell auch Übernahme von Leitungsaufgaben

Netzwerk-Administrator

• Manage customer projects in the area of network and infrastructure
• Plan, deploy and configure networks according to customer requirements
• Configure routers and switches (e.g., VLANs, trunks, STP, LACP, port security)
• Implement and maintain routing concepts – in particular OSPF and BGP
• Design and operate site interconnections (VPN, MPLS/provider connections – depending on the customer environment)
• Provide customer support by phone, via ticketing system and on-site at customer locations
• Systematically isolate and resolve incidents using diagnostic and monitoring tools
• Advise internal and external users on the selection and use of network components and solutions
• Analyze and resolve performance and availability issues (latency, packet loss, routing issues)
• Support the operation and maintenance of our systems and network infrastructures
• Create system and network documentation (topologies, IP plans, rule sets, change documentation)
• Conduct training for customers (e.g., basic handling, best practices, operations)
• Support the support team leadership and, if necessary, take on management responsibilities
