About the role
- Market research and opportunity sourcing: Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate emerging market trends, acquisition targets, and partnership opportunities aligned with Plusgrade's strategic objectives.
- Continuously monitor competitors' mergers and acquisitions activity and industry developments.
- Financial modeling and valuation analysis: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess potential acquisitions and investment opportunities.
- Conduct rigorous financial and commercial due diligence.
- Strategic planning: Collaborate with senior management to shape long-term corporate development strategy.
- M&A execution: Support end-to-end mergers and acquisitions processes.
- Partnership development: Identify, evaluate, and help structure strategic partnerships.
- Stakeholder communication: Prepare high-stakes presentations and materials for the board of directors.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in corporate development (CorpDev) / M&A / investments / transactional services.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting complex information to senior leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
