About the role

  • The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Actively manage project scope, schedule, risks and issues to ensure timely delivery and achievement of business objectives.
  • Facilitate project scope definition and timeline and resource estimations.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules and documentation in accordance with EPMO policies and procedures.
  • Manage dependencies between teams to minimize delays.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to manage action items and dependencies and monitor progress.
  • Deliver weekly project reporting with visibility into progress, risk, value delivery and resource utilization.
  • Develop effective working relationships to foster shared ownership of project outcomes and ensure stakeholder needs are identified and met.
  • Proactively monitor and communicate project risks and issues and development of mitigation plans.
  • Assist with lean process reviews and mapping exercises.
  • Assist with quarterly program planning, ensuring alignment of business-led initiatives with technology roadmaps and dependencies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software or technology project management and an advanced degree; OR a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience.
  • Project management experience in an Agile environment.
  • Professional certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent.
