About the role

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear direction while fostering strong product craft and ownership.
  • Own product strategy and execution across multiple consumer-facing product areas, ensuring alignment with company goals, commercial outcomes, and long-term vision.
  • Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to shape product initiatives that impact upper-funnel performance, including acquisition, activation, and awareness, and translate these into scalable product solutions.
  • Set clear priorities and focus areas for your teams by combining customer insights, commercial context, and robust data analysis.
  • Shape and optimise end-to-end product experiences, using quantitative and qualitative data to reduce friction, improve effectiveness, and drive measurable business impact.
  • Be accountable for product performance across your area, defining and tracking KPIs, analysing performance trends, and contributing meaningfully to Plum’s company-wide OKRs.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design leaders to ensure strong execution, scalable solutions, and high-quality outcomes across multiple squads.
  • Champion experimentation and learning, using analytics and testing to validate hypotheses, optimise funnel performance, and continuously improve results.
  • Stay close to customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape to ensure Plum remains at the forefront of personal finance and wealth management.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and scaling consumer-facing digital products, ideally in mobile-first environments and fast-growing tech companies.
  • Strong commercial and marketing understanding, with proven experience working on initiatives that impact upper-funnel performance such as acquisition, activation, and awareness.
  • High proficiency in data analytics, including defining success metrics, analysing complex datasets, and using insights to drive prioritisation, experimentation, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing Product Managers
  • Proven ability to own product strategy end to end, balancing customer needs, commercial considerations, and technical constraints.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering closely with engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and data stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented product leader with a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
