About the role

  • You will join Pliant as Senior Business Development Manager - France (m/f/d) and build out our sales unit in the country
  • You will convince prospective customers that Pliant's digital credit card solution is the payment method of the future, delivering sustainable time and cost savings
  • You will work closely with colleagues in Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management
  • Analyse: Source and map the market across small and large businesses to identify attractive customer segments that will benefit from Pliant's payment solution
  • Select channels: Work creatively to choose and deploy different channels and strategies for customer outreach
  • Customer advocacy: Take ownership, communicate skillfully with prospects and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Understanding: Seek to understand your contacts' needs and challenges, ask the right questions and listen attentively to meet customers where they are
  • Advise: Put yourself in your customers' shoes and identify how Pliant can deliver the greatest value to them
  • Go-to-market: Lead the country expansion by defining the local strategy and shaping the product for local specifics

Requirements

  • You are numbers-driven and able to lead your team to success
  • You enjoy working with customers, are an effective communicator and can build rapport with stakeholders
  • You continuously seek improvement, welcome and give feedback, and are committed to your professional development
  • You are energetic, work independently and are highly motivated by clear goals
  • You have a strong interest in FinTech and the digitalisation of the financial industry
  • You are fluent in English and French, both spoken and written
  • Sales experience within the travel industry is a strong advantage for this position
