About the role
- Architect the Plaud Agent Tooling Ecosystem: Lead the end-to-end strategic planning and execution of the Plaud Intelligence Agent's skill ecosystem. You will hold full ownership of the ecosystem's lifecycle—driving tool quantity, execution quality, and user penetration rates—transforming it from a 0-to-1 concept into a scalable, high-utility production platform.
- Define "Ground Truth" for User Scenarios: Transform complex product scenarios into quantifiable, high-bar evaluation metrics. You will drive the collaboration across Product, Evaluation, and Engineering teams to operationalize these standards, ensuring that abstract user needs are translated into deterministic business outcomes.
- Push Prompt Performance to SOTA Standards: Spearhead the advanced iteration of tool-related prompt strategies and context engineering infrastructure. Your mandate is to fine-tune the AI’s interaction logic and reasoning capabilities, ensuring the final output consistently benchmarks against Industry State-of-the-Art (SOTA) levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in LLM Agent architectures and API Platform products is required. You must be proficient in defining JSON Schemas and OpenAPI specifications, with the specific capability to transform abstract business logic into standardized, executable AI tools.
- Requires a strong ability to define "Ground Truth" and build quantifiable evaluation frameworks. Experience in creating "Golden Datasets" and analyzing production logs is essential to debug model hallucinations and ensure production-grade reliability.
- Professional English proficiency is mandatory to ensure semantic precision in high-level prompt engineering. Requires deep expertise in independently iterating context management strategies and tool descriptions to drive model outputs to SOTA levels.
Benefits
- Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that gives a real stake in Plaud’s long-term success.
- Top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents, supported by a generous employer subsidy, plus a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching for full-time employees.
- Unlimited PTO, plus 13 paid holidays, 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents, a hybrid work model with a minimum of three in-office days per week, and access to high-quality office snacks, drinks, and equipment.
- Access to best-in-class AI tools, including Cursor, GPT models, Gemini, Claude, and other frontier AI systems to maximize engineering and execution efficiency.
- Choice of top-spec laptops, high-performance workstation setups, and cutting-edge Plaud devices for all new hires.
- Annual company offsites, team events, and a culture that values craftsmanship, ownership, and velocity.
