About the role

  • Report to the VP, IT Enterprise Systems & Application Development and serve as technical system owner and IT business liaison
  • Serve as strategic liaison between IT, end users, and vendors; collaborate with business units, Data Architecture, Information Security, Project & Portfolio Management, Engineering, and IT Operations & Infrastructure
  • Align Learning Management System and Intranet with employee needs and organizational objectives
  • Lead platform strategy & planning: user research, roadmap planning, backlog management, and prioritization
  • Oversee configuration, deployment, upgrades, and feature management of system modules
  • Design efficient workflows with business owners and identify opportunities for integration and automation
  • Maintain operational runbooks, process diagrams, and data flows; standardize documentation
  • Oversee full user lifecycle: onboarding, training, support, and de-provisioning; manage help desk escalations and knowledge base
  • Ensure secure user management and permission structures; collaborate with security teams on vulnerabilities
  • Recommend and manage system integrations, monitor usage, define KPIs, and generate reports
  • Manage software licenses, vendor contracts, and vendor performance to optimize costs and compliance
  • Support UI/UX initiatives and lead agile teams for iterative solution delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT business operations and/or project management
  • Experience administering enterprise business applications
  • Experience with custom software development and/or product design
  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management
  • Experience working in hybrid SaaS environments and custom applications
  • Experience with analytics and data analysis applications
  • Experience in or basic knowledge of ITIL, ITOps, PMP and agile frameworks
  • Knowledge of program and project management techniques and tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, etc.
  • Familiarity with development workflows (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Secure Software Development Lifecycle best practices and standards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (e.g. OWASP, SOX, HIPAA, PCI, NIST) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data privacy standards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with application code security and application integration strategies (preferred)
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, logging and monitoring processes (preferred)
  • Ability to oversee vendor relationships and third-party software/services
  • 0-5% travel may be required
