Accountant

• Provide overall support to Accounting Department with traditional fundamentals accounting practices
• Participate in the compliance and assessment of accounting policies, practices and procedures with the ability to influence effective practices
• New project set up by reviewing contracts and verifying compliance with written documents (Fixed Price and/or T&M)
• Prepares GL entries
• Prepares monthly bank reconcilements utilizing accounting software
• Prepares monthly fixed asset reconciliation
• Comfortable managing timekeeping entries, collaborating with staff to prepare for monthly activities
• Provides timely, accurate information and meaningful variance analysis
• Prepares and reviews account reconciliations and analysis on a monthly or quarterly basis to insure accurate financial reporting.
• Contributes to monthly billing as need to meet department SLA’s.
