About the role

  • Provide sophisticated administrative and strategic support to the CTO and Head of Product Engineering.
  • Act as a bridge between the Office of the CTO and the broader EPDD leadership team to ensure organizational goals are reflected in leadership's time allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and specialized projects that impact the entire EPDD organization.
  • Draft and manage high-stakes internal communications and "All Hands" content, ensuring tone and messaging are aligned with Plaid’s culture.
  • Oversee the EPDD administrative budget, vendor relationships, and large-scale resource allocation for team connection and events.
  • Directly manage, mentor, and develop the EPDD EA team, establishing performance standards and career development paths.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in administrative or project support, with at least 3+ years specifically in a people management or team mentorship capacity.
  • Leadership Presence: Proven ability to manage "up and across," influencing C-suite executives and cross-functional partners with composure and discretion.
  • Strategic Mindset: A track record of moving beyond tactical execution to solve systemic organizational challenges.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfort working within a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment; familiarity with the rhythms of Engineering and Product teams is a plus.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional EQ and communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage sensitive personnel or organizational matters
