About the role
- Develop and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships.
- Be knowledgeable of all current service offerings and be able to communicate them to existing customers.
- Participate in bid opportunities, both tactical and strategic (RFP process).
- Negotiate pricing with both customers and carriers to generate profitable business opportunities.
- Execute all daily freight opportunities for assigned accounts or territories.
- Utilize market intelligence tools to advise clients and meet their daily transportation needs.
- Coordinate, schedule, and execute shipments in Transportation Management System.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, to the max

- Excellent communication and customer service ability, both written and verbal

- High energy, with the ability to make confident decisions
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Comfortable in learning new transportation technology
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
