About the role
- Lead and manage strategic initiatives, including the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Support a periodic review of strategic objectives (e.g. annually) and make informed recommendations for any adjustments to strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives
- Monitor and track the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring they stay on track and align with the company's strategic objectives
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, results, and recommendations to PJM leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may arise during the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in strategic initiative planning and execution
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administrator or at least 10 years of experience technical leadership, project management, or other leadership roles
- At least 10 years of work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects or initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience using verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
