About the role
- Prospect and develop a client portfolio to increase revenue, margin, and market share
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through prospecting, negotiation, and management of logistics contracts, ensuring profitability, operational adherence, and client retention
- Prospect new shippers (industry, retail, etc.)
- Develop opportunities in full-truckload transport, warehousing, or dedicated projects
- Gather technical requirements (volume, cubage/dimensional weight, SLA, routes, cargo profile)
- Prepare commercial proposals aligned with cost engineering
- Negotiate contracts and freight rate tables
- Oversee implementation of new contracts with operations
- Manage an active portfolio with focus on retention and upsell
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline
- Monitor competitors and market trends
- Meet targets for revenue, margin, and new contracts
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales or B2B sales
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques
- Ability to manage a client portfolio
- Availability to travel
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Experience in the segment (specify sector), basic knowledge of SLAs and logistics KPIs
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Commercial Management, or related fields)
- CRM experience
