Data Engineer

• Build and scale data-driven features that power Pixaera’s learning platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable **data pipelines** for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Work with internal data produced by training content and other data sources.
• Ensure data systems are monitored, reliable, and continuously improving.
• Collaborate with backend/frontend engineers and data scientists to integrate data seamlessly.
• Write efficient, testable, reusable components and APIs.
• Advocate and implement **best practices** in data engineering and data governance.
• Mentor and support junior engineers where applicable.

QA Engineer

• Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Execute thorough testing processes to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement in our PC and VR training software.
• Report and track issues found during testing, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
• Provide feedback to developers and stakeholders on software quality and usability.
• Daily smoke test within the game engine and on all target platforms
• Adjustment and improvement to test approach to capture issues in the development.

QA Tester

Game Engineer

• Develop modular and extensible game systems in Unreal Engine 5 using C++ and blueprints.
• Refactor existing systems to be more maintainable, reliable and better performing.
• Port game systems to new platforms and extend support for existing platforms.
• Support artists and technical artists by providing well-tested workflows and solutions.
• Provide documentation for game systems, including usage patterns and limitations.
• Collaborate closely with artists and technical artists to deliver robust workflows and solutions.

Senior Game Developer

Product Designer

• Work as a Product Designer in the product trio (Product, Design, Engineering) to define and deliver valuable, usable, feasible solutions.
• Design experiences for safety-critical industries focused on improving frontline worker safety readiness using AI and gamification.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and design leads to define problems, run discovery, and co-create solutions grounded in user needs and business goals.
• Translate insights from user research, field observations, and behavioral data into low to high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs.
• Participate in and occasionally lead product discovery activities such as assumption mapping, solution prototyping, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews.
• Balance fast-paced iteration with commitment to high-quality interaction and visual design.
• Evolve and maintain the design system for consistency and scalability across products.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, design critique, and cross-functional collaboration.
